— manifesto

painting as interface

Convention dissolves on contact. Navigation is intuition. Content is gesture. Every surface carries the tooth of canvas, every motion the pressure of a brush. We refuse the grid. We refuse the rectangle. We accept only the energy of color thrown across a substrate that knows it is alive.

— conviction

bold confidence

The unshakeable certainty of an artist who knows the vision before the brush touches canvas. There is no draft. There is only the stroke and the pigment finding its place.

— compositions

recent canvases

ruby gesture I

oil on linen / 90 x 70 cm

A single ruby sweep meets a gold counterstroke. The emerald sits as a witness, anchoring the rhythm.

sapphire field

acrylic on canvas / 120 x 100 cm

Sapphire dominates. A ruby drift breaks the deep blue. A gold drip insists on its own gravity.

emerald drift

mixed media on board / 80 x 80 cm

An emerald horizon refuses to settle. A violet undertone gives the green its weight. A ruby moon watches.

gold pigment study

tempera on panel / 60 x 60 cm

Gold without restraint. The pigment refuses to behave. A ruby underpainting bleeds through where the gold runs thin.

— process

how a canvas becomes

  1. 01 / underpainting

Deep violet ground laid first. The canvas accepts its weight. Nothing rushes.

  2. 02 / gesture

The first jewel stroke arrives in one motion. Ruby, emerald, or sapphire. The whole body commits.

  3. 03 / counter-stroke

Gold answers. It always answers. The composition begins to argue with itself.

  4. 04 / settling

Drips fall where they want. The painter watches. The painting decides when it is finished.
