miris − project . net
a network sketched by hand — humans, machines, weather all welcome

what is miris-project?
A small open network of nodes built by people who like sketching ideas on paper before shipping them. Half infrastructure, half studio. Every component in the diagram below is real, but drawn imperfectly — because the network changes week to week, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.
a hand-made dot-netarchitecture, sketched
Three layers, drawn the way you'd explain them on a napkin. The edges wobble because edges always wobble. The boxes lean because boxes always lean.
components in the network
Hover near a card. It will lean toward you, the way a curious instrument shifts when you reach for it.
-
edge daemon
A small program that listens to a corner of the world and reports honestly.
always running -
relay
Carries packets between regions. Forgets nothing for an hour, then forgets everything.
stateful, briefly -
archive
Slow, append-only, drawn in pencil. Where the long stories live.
cold & patient -
notebook
Where humans annotate the network. Pen, paper, scanned in, indexed by mood.
human in the loop -
terrain map
A live atlas of where the nodes sit, redrawn every dawn by a small cron job.
redrawn at sunrise -
overlap protocol
When two ideas meet on the wire and decide what to keep. Conflict, resolved kindly.
where ideas merge
a sketchbook of recent weeks
-
week 12
relay-south rewritten
The southern relay was rewritten in a quieter language. Latency dropped, sleep improved.
-
week 11
aurora dashboard
Built a small dashboard that paints the network state as shifting colors instead of numbers.
-
week 10
archive promoted
The archive accepted its first hundred-thousand entry, with no fanfare and a small drawing of a mountain.
-
week 09
edge-D wakes up
A new edge node opened its eyes in a coastal town. It reports weather, mostly fog.
join the sketch
Run an edge daemon, host a relay, send us a notebook page. The network grows when honest people draw on it.
welcome, new node
