## Aesthetics and Tone

The tone is **luxurious** -- patient, refined, indulgent. This is a site for someone who reads daybooks. The card-grid is dense, but never crowded; each card has air and ornament. **Letter-from-the-keeper:** The final letter reveals as a single hand-written-feel signature card with art-deco border. The signature draws in via SVG stroke-dashoffset (1.8s).

**Avoid:** No CTA-heavy layouts. No pricing. No newsletter modal (the site offers no subscription; this is a self-contained daybook). No stat-grid (the index card-count is the closest, but it's framed as inventory of categories, not as marketing metric).
