Empty lipstick casings are gathered from collection points across the city. Each tube is logged and sorted by material composition -- plastic, aluminum, or mixed.
Compacts are disassembled into their component parts: mirror glass, plastic housing, metal hinges, and residual pigment. Each material stream enters its own recycling pathway.
Glass bottles are crushed, melted, and reformed. The molten glass is colored with reclaimed mineral pigments, creating new packaging that carries the memory of its previous life.
