Before the first seed enters soil, we test, amend, and listen. The ground speaks in pH levels, mineral content, and microbial activity. Every tree begins here — in the dark, fertile silence of prepared earth.
In the propagation house, warmth and humidity are controlled with precision. Seeds stratified through winter now crack open, sending pale roots downward and green shoots up. Each tray holds a small forest in potential.
Summer is the engine. Sixteen hours of light drive photosynthesis to its peak. The saplings thicken, branch, and reach. Monitoring intensifies — water levels, nutrient uptake, pest patrols. The greenhouse hums with life.
Autumn brings the harvest. Not of fruit, but of trees themselves — young saplings strong enough to leave the nursery. They go to orchards, parks, roadsides, gardens. Each one carries the care of its growing season into the wider world.
