SECTION 01: OVERVIEW

The Bureau of Digital Entertainment Licensing (hereinafter "the Bureau") is the sole regulatory authority empowered to issue, revoke, amend, suspend, conditionally approve, or politely decline licenses for the design, manufacture, distribution, and public play of games across all recognized media, including but not limited to: board games, card games, video games, role-playing games, party games, mind games, and games that defy classification.

All applicants must complete this form in its entirety. Incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant with a form letter of such devastating politeness that no further correspondence will be necessary.

SECTION 02: REQUIREMENTS

Completed Application Form GL-001
Game rulebook (minimum 2 pages, maximum: unlimited)
Proof of at least one completed playtest session
Declaration that no tables were flipped during playtesting
Filing fee (see Schedule B, Form GL-003)
Signed oath acknowledging that losing is part of the experience

SECTION 03: ISSUANCE PROCESS

01Submit Form GL-001 at Window 3 (take a number)
02Wait for acknowledgment postcard (3-5 business days)
03Attend Classification Hearing (bring your game)
04Rules Compliance Audit (the Bureau will play your game)
05Fee assessment and payment (cash, check, or in-game currency at our discretion)
06License issuance or polite denial (see Appendix F)
