Light still reaches here. Seagrass sways like the hair of sleeping mermaids. Small creatures dart between the coral, each one a character in a story no one has written yet.
No sunlight. Only the faint glow of bioluminescence. Down here, everything is soft, slow, and ancient. The pressure is immense, but the creatures who live here have learned to call it home.
