A SaramPass is a secure, encrypted digital identity passport stored on your device. It allows you to prove who you are to third parties without sharing your raw personal data, using zero-knowledge cryptographic proofs.
Your identity data never leaves your device unencrypted. We use AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Our zero-knowledge architecture means even we cannot access your personal information.
A zero-knowledge proof lets you prove a statement is true without revealing the underlying data. For example, you can prove you are over 21 without sharing your actual birth date, or prove your nationality without revealing your passport number.
Your SaramPass can be recovered using a secure backup seed phrase that you create during setup. This phrase, combined with biometric re-verification, allows you to restore your identity on a new device. Without both factors, no one can access your credentials.
