The Beautiful Enormity

We make games in the space between wonder and understanding. Each project begins as a feeling too large to name -- a monster in the oldest sense of the word, from the Latin monstrare, to show, to reveal. The monster is not what frightens. The monster is what appears from the vastness to show you something you did not know was there.

The Garden Method

Our process is cultivation, not construction. A garden does not follow a Gantt chart. Seeds are planted, conditions are maintained, and then -- sometimes after patience that tests every assumption about schedule and scope -- something emerges that could not have been planned. This is how we work. This is how we believe the best games come into being.

Scent of Stars

The name MiRiS carries the scent of possibility. In Serbian and Croatian, miris means fragrance -- the invisible made perceptible. Our games are attempts to make the invisible perceptible: the weight of time, the texture of choice, the scent of a world that exists only in the shared imagination of player and creator.

Every game is a small universe
with its own physics,
its own light,
its own gravity.

The player enters
and for a time
becomes a native
of that universe.

When they leave,
they carry something
that did not exist
before they arrived.
