somewhere between structure and soil
hil.st
The most hill
a hill can be.
This is a place for things that grow slowly and stay rooted. Ideas that are solid enough to build on, organic enough to change shape. Code that is honest about what it does. Design that doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is.
// hil.st is not a brand.
// it is a coordinate.
// elevation: variable.
// material: concrete + moss.
// status: growing.
Every good thing needs bones. Grids, systems, constraints that hold the shape while the content breathes inside. Not rigid -- structural. There's a difference.
The best projects aren't launched. They emerge. You build the scaffold, and something starts growing through it that you didn't plan for. That's the point.
The ground is never flat. Every project has its own topography -- ridges of complexity, valleys of simplicity, and the long slopes between where most of the work actually happens.
