EYES.CASH PLATE 01 / IRIS PASS SPEC 0000.00 NM VAULT BEHIND THE IRIS
EYES.CASH   ·   THE VAULT BEHIND THE IRIS   ·   OCULAR BIOMETRIC CURRENCY   ·   LIGHT IS LEDGER   ·

A holographic plate of the human iris. Tilt to read.

PASS · I

First registration: magenta.

In the slit-lamp light, the eye admits no metaphor. The iris is a physical document — striated, asymmetric, signed by birth. We do not photograph it. We mint it. The first pass of the plate lays down the cancellation pink: UV-reactive ink under examiner's lamp. Wealth, before it is counted, is a colour you have to tilt a card to see.

Second registration: cyan.

The pupil dilates to admit more light; the ledger dilates to admit more meaning. Around every dilated pupil, an iris-cyan ring catches like the hologram on a fresh banknote. Money, here, is what you see. Seeing, here, is what you spend. The second plate aligns intentionally off-register, half a millimetre south, so the reader's eye performs the final convergence.

Third registration: citrine.

The third pass is gold, but not the gold of vaults — the warm intaglio gold of mint-master proofs, the kind that sits underneath every other colour and warms it from beneath. eyes.cash is built on that pass: a substrate of slow, considered light, on which all later passes register. Tilt the page in your mind. The hue you didn't see was always there.

CHAMBER · GOLDEN OFFSET 38%

Pupillometry, paced as breath.

The reader is invited to slow. There is no scroll-jack here — the page does not seize the wheel — but the chamber itself is dim enough that the eye must adjust. In adjusting, the reader becomes the instrument. A pupil that has dilated to read the dark is a pupil that has spent a small amount of itself on the act of seeing. We log that expenditure in lumens, not in dollars.

eyes.cash is not a bank in the way a bank is a building. It is the arrangement of light such that one's gaze, falling on a surface, leaves a measurable residue. The residue is the asset. The gaze is the labour. The mint is the chamber you are reading from. We do not promise yield; we promise aperture — a wider iris, opened slowly, on something worth tilting toward.

A single brushed-steel column of body copy sits at thirty-eight percent from the left. Sixty-two percent of the horizontal field is, by intention, empty. The empty space is not waste; it is the dark sclera around the iris of meaning. A page that fills its margins is a page that has confused signal with volume. Here the volume is held back so the signal can be held up to the light.
