WHY WE NAMED IT BADA 왜 이름이 바다인가
We wanted a word that didn't need a translation to feel like one — a sound you could hear before you understood it. Bada is two open syllables. It sits flat on the tongue and finishes wide, like a horizon. We wanted the cafe to feel the same: a flat hello, a wide finish, and a long quiet middle where you can do whatever you came to do. 번역 없이도 번역된 듯한 단어를 원했습니다. 이해하기 전에 들리는 소리. 바다는 두 개의 열린 음절입니다. 혀 위에 평평하게 앉아, 수평선처럼 넓게 끝납니다. 카페도 그렇게 느껴졌으면 했습니다. 평평한 인사, 넓은 마무리, 그리고 무엇이든 하러 온 일을 할 수 있는 길고 조용한 중간.
