A Noble Envoy's Journey Through the Feuding Kingdoms

The Kingdom of Aurelion

The Golden Throne

You arrive at the gilded gates of Aurelion as dawn breaks over its spired capital. The kingdom's banners -- cloth-of-gold bearing a rising sun -- snap in the morning breeze. King Aldric III receives you in the Hall of Mirrors, where every surface gleams with the wealth of a thousand mines.

Your mission here is delicate: Aurelion demands reparations from Thornfeld for the Siege of Copper Bridge. The king's advisors watch you with calculating eyes as you present your diplomatic credentials.

Royal Decree "Let it be known that the Envoy of the Accord is granted safe passage through all lands of Aurelion, so long as the Crown's grievances are heard in full."

The Duchy of Thornfeld

Iron and Resolve

The roads to Thornfeld are lined with ancient oaks, their branches forming natural arches above the path. The duchy is a fortress unto itself -- steep cliffs, deep moats, and walls that have never been breached. Duchess Elara meets you in the war room, maps spread across an oak table.

Thornfeld denies the charges of Aurelion. The Siege of Copper Bridge, they claim, was a defensive action against Aurelion's encroaching tax collectors. The Duchess speaks with measured fury.

Ducal Proclamation "Thornfeld bows to no golden throne. We defended our people, as is our right. Let the Envoy carry this truth back to those who would rewrite history."

The Republic of Seawatch

Where Tides Meet Treaties

Seawatch sprawls along the coast -- a republic of merchants, navigators, and shrewd diplomats. The Grand Harbor is a forest of masts, and the air smells of salt and ambition. Chancellor Mirren receives you on the deck of her flagship, the Leviathan's Promise.

Seawatch has no armies but commands the sea lanes. Both Aurelion and Thornfeld depend on its trade routes. The Chancellor offers to mediate -- for a price.

Chancellor's Terms "Peace is good for business, and business is good for peace. Seawatch will host the summit, but we require exclusive harbor rights for the next decade."

The Sylvan Realm of Verdantia

Guardians of the Ancient Wood

The forests of Verdantia are older than any kingdom. Trees tower hundreds of feet, and the paths are lit by bioluminescent moss. The Elder Council meets in a natural amphitheatre formed by the roots of the Great Oak. They speak softly, but their words carry the weight of centuries.

Verdantia cares little for borders or gold. Their concern is the river -- the Silver Vein -- which feeds their forests and is being polluted by Thornfeld's iron mines. They will join the summit only if the river is protected.

Elder Council's Verdict "The forest remembers what kingdoms forget. Protect the Silver Vein, and Verdantia will lend its voice to your peace. Fail, and the woods will reclaim what was taken."

The Grand Summit

Where All Paths Converge

Your journey has brought you through gilded halls and iron fortresses, across merchant harbors and ancient forests. Now, in the neutral grounds of Seawatch's Grand Pavilion, the leaders gather. The fate of the realm rests on the words you carry.

The treaty is laid upon the table -- a single sheet of vellum bearing the terms negotiated across your journey. Each ruler approaches with quill in hand.

The Accord of the Silver Vein

  • Aurelion shall withdraw its tax claims on Copper Bridge
  • Thornfeld shall cease mining operations along the Silver Vein
  • Seawatch shall open harbor rights to all signatory nations
  • Verdantia shall share its forest remedies with all kingdoms
