the space between
Every boundary is a door waiting to be recognized. MMIDDL exists in the liminal -- the hallway between rooms, the pause between breaths, the instant where one thought ends and another has not yet begun. Here, categories dissolve. Certainty becomes mist.
The in-between is not emptiness. It is the most charged space in existence -- the point of maximum potential where everything is still possible. Dawn is not day or night. A doorway belongs to neither the room you left nor the room you enter.
Consider the horizon: it is the most visible line in the world, yet it does not exist. It is a boundary that exists only in perception, a middle that holds apart sky and earth. MMIDDL is that horizon -- a name for the unnamed territory where binaries fail.
All layers collapse. All distances dissolve. For one moment, everything occupies the same plane.
Movement through the middle changes you. You enter as one thing and emerge as another. The corridor is not passive -- it is the transformation itself. What feels like nothing happening is everything happening at once.
The middle remembers both sides. Every transition leaves a trace -- a residue of where you were and a premonition of where you are going. MMIDDL captures these echoes and gives them form.
