Design for
what remains.

We are a studio dedicated to the lifecycle of materials. Every object has a past and a future. We design the systems that connect them, turning waste into purpose and purpose into craft.

collect sort reform

From waste
to material truth.

Our process begins where others end. We receive discarded materials, study their composition, and design pathways for reincorporation. Nothing is waste; everything is a resource awaiting its next purpose.

01 Collection & Assessment

Materials arrive. We catalog composition, condition, and potential. Each item is photographed, weighed, and assigned a material profile.

02 Sorting & Classification

Automated and manual sorting separates materials by type, grade, and recyclability index. Our proprietary classification system identifies 47 distinct material categories.

03 Transformation & Output

Materials are processed, reformed, and prepared for their next life. We track each gram from intake to output, ensuring complete material accountability.

Sorting systems
built for precision.

Our sorting infrastructure combines optical recognition, density separation, and manual quality control. The result is material streams of exceptional purity.

Optical Recognition

Near-infrared spectroscopy identifies polymer types at 200 items per minute with 98.3% accuracy.

Density Separation

Float-sink tanks and air classifiers separate materials by density, isolating plastics, metals, and organics.

Quality Assurance

Manual inspection stations ensure purity standards. Every output batch is tested against 12 quality parameters.

We work with five primary material streams. Each has unique properties, processing requirements, and downstream applications. Understanding material composition at a molecular level allows us to maximize recovery rates and output quality.

A facility
designed for purpose.

Our studio is built around the principle that beautiful spaces produce better work. Clean lines, natural light, and intentional organization create an environment where both people and materials are treated with care.

Processing Floor

2,400 square meters of dedicated sorting and processing space, organized into eight distinct material zones.

Research Lab

Material analysis laboratory equipped with spectrometers, density testing, and composition profiling tools.

Output Warehouse

Climate-controlled storage for processed materials, maintaining quality standards until delivery to partners.

Nothing is wasted.
Everything is transformed.

Recycle.studio exists because we believe the material world deserves better stewardship. Every system we design, every process we refine, brings us closer to a future where waste is an obsolete concept.
