The studio operates on a single premise: the most interesting design solutions emerge from irreconcilable constraints.

When requirements conflict, conventional design seeks compromise. We seek the contradiction itself -- the point where opposing forces create something neither could alone. Every project begins with the identification of its central paradox.

The spear and the shield. The pattern that advances and recedes. The composition that is balanced precisely because it is off-balance.

Overlapping planes where the foreground recedes and the background advances. Color emerges from the intersection of absence.

Shadows that fall toward their light source. Weight that floats. Density that dissolves at its center.

The studio does not resolve contradictions. It presents them with sufficient clarity that they become navigable, even beautiful. Contradiction is not the problem -- it is the medium.

矛盾 -- the spear that pierces any shield, the shield that blocks any spear. Both for sale. Both real. The studio works in the space between.
