Unsolved question

ppuzzle.org is the table where public pieces almost fit.

Ballot fragments, clause strips, boundary sketches, and public voices are arranged as evidence. Every solution exposes the outline of another missing connector.

01 / The Split District
Boundary contested
Votes share one border
A
B
Map room exhibit

Two majorities, one border that refuses to close.

The district silhouette can be read as representation or as repair. Rotate it seven degrees and a neighborhood becomes an orphaned tab.

Boundary contested
02 / The Clause Drawer
Pull record drawer
Clause fits only if rotated
Exception: local compact preserved
Amendment arrow points backward
Policy fragment

A sentence becomes a mechanical part.

Each clause slides under the map, changing which tabs can meet. The drawer never opens cleanly; the rule catches on its own precedent.

03 / The Coalition Lock
plurality
mandate
Negotiation hinge

The hinge joins positions, but the underside marks do not match.

A coalition can look locked from above while its connector remains hollow underneath. The snap sound never arrives.

VETO?
04 / The Public Comment Tangle
“Comment thread tangled here.”
“One testimony shares three borders.”
“Public record: knot not resolved.”

42
Public margin

Voices arrive as pins, knots, and overlapping speech shapes.

The thread does not rank comments. It shows where lived testimony snags a clean diagram and asks the table to redraw itself.

05 / The Missing Mandate
compact

clause

Unfiled outcome

The board nearly assembles around a glowing absence.

ppuzzle.org does not declare politics solved. It preserves the shape of the tradeoff so the next hand at the table can see what remains missing.
