I — Origin Schema

Knowledge begins as a disciplined arrangement of edges.

lrx.wiki treats each entry as a small technical plate: a concise definition, a lineage, a set of neighboring terms, and the references that keep those terms from drifting. The system is deliberately narrow. It prefers a stable column of language to a swollen interface of controls.

The index is written for readers who return, compare, and annotate. Every paragraph is positioned against an outer margin so that supplementary material can sit beside the sentence it qualifies. Nothing is hidden behind panels; the page simply continues downward like a printed monograph.

Terms are cross-referenced through quiet links such as taxonomic adjacency and compact identifiers like LRX:node-014. The point is not speed, but orientation: the reader should always know where the current thought sits in the larger structure.

II — Editorial Method

The page is a reading instrument, not a container for modules.

Each entry is edited through four operations: compression, alignment, citation, and revision. Compression removes the ornamental phrase. Alignment places related claims on a common baseline. Citation records the point of dependency. Revision allows the node to move without losing its historical coordinates.

A wiki usually expands sideways through navigation chrome. lrx.wiki expands vertically through carefully separated sections, horizontal rules, and plate interruptions. The absence of a navigation bar is intentional; the running folio is enough.

Inline notation remains restrained. Identifiers such as axis:semantic, edge:implied, and plate:II appear only when the text needs a fixed technical handle.

III — Reading Protocol

A good reference surface lets the eye measure before it interprets.

The visible grid, the crop marks, the quiet folio, and the large ghost numerals all make the page measurable. They tell the reader that every claim belongs to a page system. This is why lrx.wiki avoids visual warmth, photography, gradients, and decorative color.

When a marginal note darkens, it is not announcing itself. It is confirming alignment between a sentence and its apparatus. When a plate draws its lines, it behaves like a technical proof being inked onto graph paper.

The final state is deliberately austere: a living wiki that looks as if it could be printed, archived, annotated by hand, and returned to without the interface aging around the knowledge.
