Lesson 1
The grid is not a container. It is the cut pattern.
Gold seams hold the pressure while black leather takes the mark.

The Craft
Start with the surface. Every wall and every hide remembers touch, so the first lesson is restraint: test pressure, read grain, let the tool tell you how hard it wants to be pushed.
A stencil is architecture in miniature. Negative space becomes load-bearing. Bridges stay narrow, corners stay sharp, and the gold line is never decoration; it is joinery.
When the spray dries, the atelier begins. Edges are burnished, marks are sealed, and the work is flipped like a sample book until the back explains the front.
Nozzle distance translated into stitch rhythm.
Metal leaf laid where the grid almost breaks.
Thin lines, fat caps, and the discipline between.
A signature blurred just enough to feel human.
Soft grain absorbs the lesson without losing edge.
The page turns; the gilt edge catches light.
