Strip the wood paneling. Peel the fluorescent drop-ceiling. What remains is a box where strangers tell stories about each other and a third stranger decides which story is true. The graffiti writer does the same thing, only louder, and without the oath.
Here, under sodium-vapor glow at 2am, every confession is an act of aerosol. Every line intersects another line. Every verdict is provisional.

Truth is recursive. A witness sees a witness. A judge cites a judge. The tag under your tag was painted by someone who swore they were first. Nobody is first. Nobody owns the wall.
We drew this section while listening to the heating pipes hum in an empty holding cell. The hum held a B-flat for exactly thirteen minutes. Then it stopped. Then it started again.

A cracked window does not stop being a window. It just becomes honest about what it is: a thin pane of refusal, held together by habit. Every verdict is a pane of glass. Every appeal is a hairline crack running from corner to corner.
The fracture pattern is not damage. It is the shape the light makes when it finally gets through.
