game making circle
ミリス
A rhythm-action roguelite where the beat is the map. Procedural dungeons generated from BPM analysis of the soundtrack. Every run sounds different.
A meditative sandbox where you grow pixel flowers by writing tiny scripts. No goals, no score. Just soil and syntax.
An epistolary horror game told through emails from a dead server. Read. Reply. Regret. The inbox remembers.
A 1-bit endless runner set inside a cloud. You are the cloud. The ground is a suggestion. Physics are polite recommendations.
finally cracked the BPM-to-dungeon pipeline. turns out 140bpm makes corridors too narrow. 120 is the sweet spot for exploration feel.
pixel::garden v1.2 shipped. added sunflower seeds and a rain toggle. someone on itch said it made them cry. good tears, i think.
new chiptune for ECHO//DRIFT boss fight. 160bpm. the dungeon generator made a spiral. unintentional but it feels right. keeping it.
VOID MAIL on pause. the email parser is haunted (actual bug, not the horror game part). will revisit after jam season.
KUMO-RUN prototype playable. the cloud physics feel like holding a pillow underwater. exactly what we wanted.
rebuilt the sprite pipeline with aseprite CLI. export times down from 4min to 12sec. should have done this two years ago.
