Cartography of the In-Between
At the edge of the known, where the map folds upon itself, the traveler finds the first breach — a shimmering seam in the fabric of space where two versions of reality press against each other like pages in a closed book.
Between the veils, the traveler walks the narrow corridor where parallel lines almost converge. Here, echoes of other selves whisper coordinates to places that exist only in adjacent dimensions.
In the deepest parallel, the Fae Court holds dominion over the crossroads of all realities. Their cartographers chart not land but possibility — every divergent choice, every road not taken, rendered in gold ink on parchment older than time.
The traveler emerges changed — carrying maps of places that don't exist in this reality, yet knowing that somewhere, in a parallel just beyond reach, those places are home. The quest continues, eternal and golden.
