DAITOUA.QUEST
HISTORICAL ARCHIVE SYSTEM v1.0
The Greater East Asia archive collects primary source documents, policy declarations, and diplomatic correspondence from the period of 1930–1945. Each document has been digitized from original microfilm holdings and indexed for cross-reference with the timeline and map systems.
This collection represents fragments of a complex historical period — neither celebrating nor condemning, but preserving the documentary record in its original context. Every pixel of data is placed with intention.
Pixel map fragments representing regions within the Greater East Asia sphere. Click to explore territorial changes across the timeline.
daitoua.quest is a digital archive interface built in the aesthetic language of late-1980s Japanese home computing. This project presents historical documents and research materials related to the Greater East Asia concept (大東亜, Daitōa) through a pixel-art archival experience.
