UNDERWATER
CAFE

Where Swiss design meets the coral reef. Every cup recycled builds a new habitat.

THE UNDERWATER CAFE

recycle.cafe is where sustainability meets beauty beneath the waves. Our cafe transforms reclaimed ocean materials into warm, inviting spaces where every espresso tells a story of regeneration. The coral reef grows with each recycled cup, and the fish swim a little freer with each conscious choice.

MARINE SPECIES CATALOG

Our reef ecosystem supports over 700 individual marine creatures across 12 species. Each species thrives because of the habitat created by recycled materials from our cafe operations. The coral structures made from reclaimed cups provide shelter, breeding grounds, and feeding stations.

CUPS RECYCLED

0

Every cup that passes through recycle.cafe is processed and transformed. The cellulose becomes substrate for coral attachment. The lids are melted and reformed into reef-safe structural supports. Nothing is wasted in our underwater world.

CARBON OFFSET

0 kg

Our closed-loop system captures and offsets carbon at every stage. From sourcing beans via sail-freight to composting grounds into reef nutrients, every gram of CO₂ is accounted for with the precision of a Swiss chronometer.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

Our community of 230 volunteers has conducted 18 reef cleanup operations this year, removing over 2 tonnes of debris from local marine ecosystems. Each cleanup is followed by a celebration at the cafe, where participants receive drinks made from beans sourced through our zero-waste supply chain.
