ZONE 02 — FIRST STRATUM

Deep beneath the summit, where light forgets its source, luminescence persists. Not as warmth — as memory encoded in mineral. The gorge walls pulse with geometries older than language, each shape a signal from the mountain's crystalline core.

This is the first stratum. Eyes adjust. Shapes resolve.

ZONE 03 — PHOSPHOR FIELD

The phosphor field stretches in every direction — a lattice of cold light suspended in stone. Each node pulses independently, a network of mineral consciousness communicating in wavelengths too slow for human perception.

Memphis architects dreamed of this: geometry liberated from function, pattern existing purely as joy. Here in the deep, their dream persists — but transformed by pressure and darkness into something stranger, something sacred.

ZONE 04 — CRYSTAL GALLERY

Crystals do not grow — they accumulate. Layer upon layer of identical molecular decisions, each one a vote for the same angular truth. The gallery displays these decisions as architecture: columns with impossible capitals, arches that support nothing but light.

ZONE 05 — BIOLUMINESCENT CAVERN

In the deepest caverns, bioluminescence replaces starlight. Organisms that have never known the sun produce their own constellations — cold chemical light that illuminates nothing but itself. The cave becomes a sky turned inside out.

Every glow is a question the darkness asks itself.

ZONE 06 — NADIR

Light persists where heat cannot. In the deepest places, luminescence is the last language — geometry speaking to geometry, across millennia of stone silence.
