About MiRiS

MiRiS is a game-making circle that embraces the tension between meticulous craft and unrestrained experimentation. We are artists, engineers, and storytellers who believe the best games emerge from the collision of order and entropy.

Founded in the quiet hours between midnight and dawn, our collective operates as a distributed studio — connected by shared vision, separated by geography, united by the glow of our screens. Every project begins as a spark: a mechanic that feels right, an image that won't leave, a sound that demands a world around it.

Our process

01

Spark

Every project begins with a single unshakeable idea — a mechanic, an image, a feeling. We let it live in a shared space until it demands to be built.

02

Prototype

Rapid iteration in code. We build the core loop first — if it doesn't feel right in the hands within 72 hours, we reshape or release it.

03

Refine

Polish through collision — art meets code, sound meets space. Each discipline pushes and pulls until the seams become invisible.

04

Ship

We believe in releasing into the world. Done is better than perfect, but we never ship something we wouldn't play ourselves at 2 AM.
