바다 · 海 · sea
a digital tidepool, broadcast through corrupted signal
The surface breaks apart into pixels. Each wave carries fragments of data, old memories encoded in salt and light. Here, at the threshold between air and water, the transmission stutters but never stops.
This is the space of gentle corruption. Beauty does not diminish — it transforms. The signal is not lost; it is becoming something new.
얕은 물 · 浅瀬 shoals — where the sea first touches land
In the midwater, light arrives in fragments. The warmth of moe — tender, protective affection for small beautiful things — mingles with the deep ocean and its indifference. Neither wins. Both are true.
We built this tidepool as a shelter for signals the surface world has forgotten. A VHS tape of a seaside vacation, played for the thousandth time, its colors bleeding into something more honest than the original.
