A private collection of luminous specimens.

Within these walls, every specimen has been drawn from the electric depths of uncharted waters. The collection began not as an act of acquisition but of wonder — each creature catalogued not for its market value but for the singular way its bioluminescence illuminated the margins of a researcher’s evening notes. The library grew around the aquarium, and the aquarium grew into the library, until the boundary between study and habitat dissolved entirely.

What you encounter here is the residue of that dissolution: knowledge rendered luminous, technology made biological, the cold precision of nomenclature warmed by the living glow of creatures that have no use for names. Each specimen carries within its body a frequency of light that no instrument has fully measured — and it is this unmeasured remainder, this surplus of beauty beyond classification, that the collection exists to preserve.
