LICENSING

❦ A Chronicle of Chartered Amusements ❦
The Registry
Game licensing is the formal chartering of an interactive amusement — a binding compact between maker and audience, witnessed in vellum and verified in pixel. Within these chambers we record the lineage of every joystick stroke, every coin dropped, every imagined kingdom rendered in glowing phosphor.
Each license, once granted, is illuminated by hand and stamped beneath molten wax. Pixel-art devices stand in for the heraldic beasts of older charters: a crosshair where a lion once roared, a checkered flag where a unicorn once pranced. The Bureau treats each entertainment as worthy of royal ceremony.
The Archive
Beneath the gaslight, the Archive holds five great orders of license, each a hexagonal chamber bearing its own pixel-art device. Approach a seal and it shall crack open, revealing the privileges granted unto its holder.
☞ Hover a seal to break it.

The Scriptorium
Four offices govern the granting of a license. Each is conducted in solemn silence, save the scratch of nib upon parchment and the soft tap of a pixelated bell.
Should a petition fail, it is returned with a marginal note in patent green — never struck through, only annotated, for the Bureau believes every amusement deserves a second draft.
