Reiwa -- "beautiful harmony" -- is the name of Japan's current imperial era. But what happens when you feed that concept into an algorithm? You get patterns that are never quite the same twice, yet always feel like they belong together. That's what we're building here.
Every ornament on this page is generated from a seed -- today's date. Tomorrow, the ripples will shift, the borders will reconfigure, and the patterns will be subtly new. It's like a potter's kiln: you set the conditions, apply heat, and something emerges that you guided but didn't fully control.
We believe the future doesn't have to be cold. The future can be terracotta and gold, fired clay and handmade paper. Technology is just a tool -- and tools take on the warmth of the hands that use them.
The algorithm doesn't replace the artisan. It becomes one.
