These forms exist in a state of perpetual expansion. They are not buildings in any traditional sense, but rather experiments in pneumatic excess -- structures that have been inflated beyond their original purpose, swelling into new and absurd geometries.
Each surface bulges outward from the screen itself, daring the observer to question whether what they see is real or merely pressure building behind glass.
INFLATE
What does it mean to document the absurd? prototype.report exists at the intersection of institutional authority and creative rebellion. The ".report" suffix suggests dry, factual analysis -- yet the content defies every convention of professional documentation.
Like Claes Oldenburg's soft sculptures subverting expectations of material and scale, these inflated forms mock the idea that architecture must serve a rational purpose.
EXPAND
Every element has been subjected to internal pressure until it reaches the threshold of structural integrity. The borders between forms blur as one inflated mass presses against another, creating seams and stress points that reveal the internal mechanisms of expansion.
The burnt-orange palette is intentional -- like heated metal or kiln-fired clay, suggesting these forms have been fired in a furnace, their surfaces glazed and hardened by heat.
PRESSURIZE
This site does not respect the conventions of professional web design. It deliberately violates expectations of how a "report" should look -- austere, data-driven, corporate. Instead, it presents swollen, tactile forms that dare the viewer to take it seriously.
The mood is that of an art student's thesis exhibition mounted in a government filing office: the bureaucratic container cannot hold the creative energy within.
TRANSFORM
Every surface breathes. Every form swells and contracts in a gentle cycle, as if the entire landscape is a living, pneumatic organism. The animations are not merely decorative -- they are the heartbeat of this alternate timeline where inflated architecture has become the dominant form of construction.
Navigation through this space becomes a journey through pressure zones, where each section presses against the next, creating a sense of physical forms in constant dialogue.
BREATHE
prototype.report continues to evolve. New inflated forms are constantly being documented. The architecture of this alternate timeline expands without limit.
