The Cardinal Virtues
In the ledger of consequence, certain virtues recur as foundational. These are the cardinal points upon which a moral compass turns. Each virtue is sealed and catalogued, a physical seal pressed into wax, and preserved in this folio as both icon and specimen.
Courage: the virtue to act despite fear. Wisdom: the virtue to perceive truth. Temperance: the virtue of measured response. Justice: the virtue of fair reckoning.
