Imagine a cluttered observatory built into a hollowed asteroid: brass astrolabes furred with green lichen, jars of moon-dust labeled in fountain pen, a card index of comets sorted by smell. interplanetary.biz is not a "space company" website; it is the field journal of a creature who treats the solar system like a forest floor — collecting, naming, pocketing, treasuring.

The tone is **calm-serene** to the point of meditative: nothing pulses, nothing demands. Text appears the way someone slowly types into an old terminal at 2am, comfortable and unhurried. The goblincore chaos lives in the *density of detail* — overlapping marginalia, taped-in specimen plates, mismatched ornament — not in motion or noise. Think of it as a quiet hoard you are allowed to browse.

Inspiration touchstones: Ernst Haeckel's *Kunstformen* plates rendered in malachite instead of sepia; the inside of a wunderkammer drawer; Art-Deco elevator panels from the 1920s grown over with bracket fungus; a typewriter manual for a machine that catalogues planets; British nature-trust interpretive signage if it were written about Europa.

## Layout Motifs and Structure

**Editorial-flow, not card-grid.** The page reads like a bound naturalist's quarterly: a wide single primary column (62–66ch measure) with a generous **left margin rail** (≈22% width) reserved for marginalia — running glosses, tiny specimen thumbnails, hand-set folios, and Deco corner-pieces. Content flows in long uninterrupted passages broken by **plate interludes**: full-bleed marble-textured spreads bearing a single engraved illustration and a one-line caption set in the display face.
